This Holiday Inn Midtown (in NYC) is in need of refurbishing. It's getting very dingy. The bathroom area is getting very rundown, and the room lighting is very poor. And the beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in.

This hotel made me feel important: The porters/bellhops in particular noticed that I was hauling costumes back and forth for a production/showcase at least once a day, and sometimes more than once. They understood this was an important trip for me.

I am very likely to return to the Holiday Inn Midtown 57th St.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Check in was very difficult and unfriendly. The staff was rude and unaccommodating. The air conditioning didn't work at all. The television didn't work properly.
