Got two rooms for a bowling tournament. The rooms were very crowded, the water was sometimes hot sometimes cold and unadjustable in the shower, The remote didn't work, we had to request more than one towel per room and the toliet required holding the handle down 30-60 seconds to flush correctly.

The staff was either very friendly or very surly depending on who was on duty at the time. If you are going to stay, do not stay on the side of the nightclub if you want a parking space or a good nights sleep. The music from the nightclub can be heard until 3am and the bar patrons take up all the parking spots and were banging on 1st floor doors and windows after the bar closed.

The Breakfast Bar was excellent and was the highlight of the trip.

I specifically requested a refrigerator due to traveling with a baby. I never got the refrigerator. None of the ice machines worked so I could not use the cooler that I finally found in the back of the truck. I eventually got ice from the bar in order to try and keep the baby's bottles from spoiling.

This hotel made me feel secure: There was a security guard in the parking lot checking vehicles and bar patrons.

The hotel had an excellent bar, with free drinks for the happy hour. The location was good for easy access to the highway. I appreciated their southern hospitality.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They called me by my first name and they made sure I had everything when checking in and out. They made sure I had a good time.

It had a friendly staff and was clean, as expected.

This is a reasonably priced, well located hotel. The staff and service was very nice. The rooms are all only open to the outside, upon entering my room, I found a broken door lock, which was promptly fixed, but I also noticed that my room looked nothing like the photos. I also noticed several little annoying things, such as the bathroom doors were notched out around the toilet to accomodate an ADA accesible door size. Also, upon returning from the historic district in the evening, I found the parking lot and entrance near my side of the building roped off, and I had to turn around and try to enter the building from Abercorn street, which wasn't possible without a u turn and some other fanageling.
