I booked this hotel through Priceline and it was FANTASTIC! I would go back in a heartbeat. I got an excellent price for the room, it was clean, great amenities and very friendly staff. The one and only issue is that the elevator is very slow and not very reliable. Other than that, I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Holiday Inn Miami Beach. Sure, the parking situation is not ideal, but it is the same everywhere in Miami. Parking is very difficult and expensive. That is one of the downsides of the entire city, but this hotel had valet parking for about $20 a day and it was reliable and quick.
The pool is beautiful and it is right on the ocean. We had a wonderful stay and would easily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bad service and bad service. Some of the most rudest people I have ever known. They must really don't like their job. Check in was horrible the lady seems as if i was in her way or she did not want to be bothered, and the manager was a complete B@#CH. The worst service ever. The bellman did not let us use his cart, the security guard was more of a p@ssy then a cat. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!
The location is excellent - right on the beach. The morning buffet was delicious. I was a little surprised that it didn't have a bar opened since it was football playoff weekend and there is one located in the lobby. Within walking distance...

They make you put down 50.00 and when you check out, you have hidden prices, and they keep your 50.00. The parking was bad, it took over an hour to get them to go get my veh. When I check out, the manager did not care when we tryed to talk to him. I would stay in my car before I would stay there again.

Holiday Resort has no concern for their customers. The customary for the area required valet parking is done by incompetent and dishonest drivers. The valet service is owned fully by the hotel and not an outside company. I dropped my car off in the evening, picked it up the next morning from the valet service and immediately noticed damage. It was clearly damage caused by hitting a cement wall, column, or other such obstacle. It was clearly not done by another vehicle. It was dropped off, without damage, picked up with damage, and they refused to accept responsibility. Two months later they are fighting to avoid a $453 repair cost for the damage they did. Even worse they charge $20 per day for the opportunity to destroy your property. You pay for them to cause damages for you to pay!
