56 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed at this hotel for five days. Because of weather, our flight was delayed for a day, so our luggage did not arrive for three days. We had only the things from our carry-on luggage, including toiletries and reading material. The first full day of our stay, the maid threw everything away and said she thought we had checked out, even though our carry-on luggage was there. The manager (there are four of them and they don't talk to each other) said the trash had already been taken out and there was nothing they could do. The next day, half the things were returned. They were unconcerned. The hotel is at least 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours one way from anything you want to see by public transportation and is in a heavily Muslim neighborhood. Groups of young Muslim men hang around the streets, so it feels pretty uncomfortable for a tourist. Also, the hotel charges $40 US each for breakfast. Room was OK. However, pay a little more and stay somewhere else!

41 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

There are three hotels at the Heathrow airport. I had trouble with the cab driver in trying to locate the correct location.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Holiday Inn London Heathrow.
I might recommend it to friends.

It was about a year ago when my flight got cancelled from Heathrow. It was 9 o'clock in the evening and home was 2 and a half hours away. Fortunately Holiday Inn came to our rescue. It's situation is just perfect considering that flights from Heathrow are nearly always cancelled!! Although it was not terribly comfortable or even pleasant, it served it's purpose well and I could go on holiday the next day without a too damaged budget. This kind of cheap and cheerful hotel is perfect for a night at low cost.

The beds were not very comfortable and the walls were a bit thin but for it's cost, it is certainly worth it. However I would not recommend it for a holiday stay!

The Holiday Inn (M4 J4) Heathrow is 10 minutes on the shuttle bus from Heathrow Airport. I stay here on business at least three times a month and have always had an excellent service. Their rooms are clean, recently refurbished and the restaurants are great. If you need a hotel near Heathrow for a stop over this is the one I would recommend, unlike many of the Heathrow hotels you do not have planes flying overhead disturbing your sleep! There is a shuttle bus that runs to the Airport every 15 minutes.

I am very likely to return to the Holiday Inn London Heathrow.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Great staff, great service. A really modern, friendly and well appointed hotel. I would recommend and will definitely stay here again. It's much better than a Mariott or Hilton.

I am very likely to return to the Holiday Inn London Heathrow.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
