The waterpark was great. You will not save time and money by eating at the hotel buffet. It consisted of hamburger or chicken for your choice of crunchyor soft tacos. Mac&cheese, rice, tater tots, (yes, tater tots). $75 for 4 people.Sorry, but it...

It was a nice hotel. The water park and the amenities were nice. The sports restaurant in the hotel had much to be desired. It took ten minutes before someone came to seat us in the restaurant that only had two other tables of people. It took another thirty minutes to get our cheeseburgers, which were good. The other issue I had was with hotel service. I requested an ashtray three different times and all three times I was told someone would bring me one and for my three day, two night stay I never received an ashtray. I had also put a do not disturb sign on my door which was removed and my room was cleaned anyways.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Indianapolis-N @ The Pyramids.
I might recommend it to friends.

I was there for business in early November, and I had a wonderful experience. I honestly don't know why it has so many bad reviews. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the food at all three restaurants was superb. Especially at San Remo, that place had some really, really good food. I don't know about the price, because I didn't have to pay for the trip, but all in all, it was an excellent trip for me, mostly due to the hotel.

The hotel is fine by itself, and the desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
That all stopped when we entered the attached water park. The staff there were some of the rudest I have encountered at a Holiday Inn (and I am a retired Holiday Inn Food and Beverage Manager, so you can bet I wouldn't trash them if they didn't deserve it.)
We were in the park twice, different staff both times. Not once in the whole time we were there did we notice a single staffer smile. I had the opportunity to talk to their supervisor and he just wandered away from me when I was in mid-sentence. He walked over and sat next to another lifeguard. With so many people walking around so surly it does ruin the experience.

Horrible
The hotel staff was great, the rooms acceptable. The waterpark was another story. The kiddie pool was cold. The water dirty but the worst part was the staff. we were there twice for several hours at a time and we didn't see one of them smile once....
