Some motels don't appreciate the fact that I used Expedia to book; any problems are referred to Expedia instead of the motel. La Quinta did not do that.

Last summer, my family and I were traveling from Minnesota to Arizona with our dog. We wanted to stay in a nice place with certain amenities (i.e., a pool) that allowed pets. La Quinta was one of the few places we found that did.
It was a clean, modern facility that was quiet, in a good location and a good value for the price. The absolute most important feature that I appreciated was that it was a nice hotel that allowed pets.
