the hotel was great except, my stay was on the Bay street side and very noisy the first night. The tea time was excellent with the live pianist! It was a little far from things, but manageable. The room i had was extra large, plenty of room. Aug
54 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
This is one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in years and I travel a lot. The room was on the first floor on Bay street and was incredibly noisy. There was an ear piercing alarm on the door next to my room that went off every time someone would exit. The furnishings were worn and not very clean. The worst thing was the smell of a dead rodent; a smell that was hard to shake the next day. I called the staff and was treated with indifference. If you want a good hotel in the historic district, try the Hampton Inn or Marshall House. This place is way overpriced and you will likely be as disappointed as I was.
27 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I liked the hotel in general my only issue was that our room was facing a busy street so it was a little noisy in the mornings. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Historic District (Mulberry).
I might recommend it to friends.
