Our room was clean, but we requested a nonsmoking room, which we got with the exception of the !@#** that keep smoking in the stairwell outside our room,an of course the smoke filtered into our room. It seemed that no amount of complaining to the front desk did any good. From this I developed an upper resp. infection. I feel I paid to much for my room to have to tolerate someones cigarette smoke.
I will be returning to Hilton Head next year, but will not be staying @ Holiday Inn.
Not worth the money! We spent $150 a night for this place. Yes, granted, it's on the beach so they get 5/5 for location. However, from the moment we got there nearly every part of the experience was bad. Too bad there's no option to give ZERO...

The location was great. The public beach access on both sides of the hotel was problematic. The hotel did not control parking lot access after five o'clock in the afternoon, resulting in parking problems.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Hilton Head Island(Oceanfront).
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We wanted to be on the beach. This had a great beachfront location, great views, and access to walking on the beach every day. The food was great, as was the friendliness and accommodations.
We have always been happy with our stays at the Holiday Inn. We like the attachment of restaurants, and bars, and everything is comfortable.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Hilton Head Island(Oceanfront).
I might recommend it to friends.

I liked the location the atmosphere. The pool was a little disgusting but the concierge there was absolutely the nicest and persuasive person I have ever met.

It has a very nice beach area. Their wireless internet did not work. The plasma television could not get in-room movies most of the time. The HBO channel was very fuzzy. The restaurant was exceptionally good. Sometimes the amenities are not as advertised. The evening shift maintenance man was extremely helpful.
