Holiday Inn Hilton Head Island Hotel

The location was great. The public beach access on both sides of the hotel was problematic. The hotel did not control parking lot access after five o'clock in the afternoon, resulting in parking problems.

The outside of the property was nice. The rooms need a major face-lift and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

We wanted to be on the beach. This had a great beachfront location, great views, and access to walking on the beach every day. The food was great, as was the friendliness and accommodations.

This hotel made me feel respected: We have always been happy with our stays at the Holiday Inn. We like the attachment of restaurants, and bars, and everything is comfortable.

It has a very nice beach area. Their wireless internet did not work. The plasma television could not get in-room movies most of the time. The HBO channel was very fuzzy. The restaurant was exceptionally good. Sometimes the amenities are not as advertised. The evening shift maintenance man was extremely helpful.

I liked the location the atmosphere. The pool was a little disgusting but the concierge there was absolutely the nicest and persuasive person I have ever met.
