Hotel Review

55 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I liked the location. It was busy. It was convenient to attractions and cable car. They needed more information on the bus system for getting to and from the airport, but the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. In the hotel lobby the concierge was very helpful, but it took time to get to because the hotel was busy. The hotel internet service connection was great and functional. The availability of a printer on floor was also very helpful.
This hotel made me feel secure: There was limited access to the floor we stayed on.

The hotel had great location and price. The hotel restaurant was ridiculously overpriced.

56 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The location and the comfort were fine. The staff did not have my reservation and my rooms available upon arrival and they did practically nothing to accommodate or make up for their mistakes. In addition, I encountered very rude staff members. I ended up with nothing complimentary or refunded and I stayed in a room smaller than I reserved without an apology or acknowledgement of their ineptitude and total disregard for my concerns as a guest. I would never recommend this location.

The room had a dirty bathroom with mold growing on the ceiling, the maid wouldn't change the sheets, the fold out couch had nothing more than an old worn out mattress, the maid wouldn't even make it or change the sheets, the front desk treated us like we were 5th class citizens. I spoke with the front desk many times and I was told, sorry, we’re very busy right now and someone will be there soon. I waited hours sitting in a room waiting for someone to show up. They did a charge back and they fought me tooth and nail on that. This hotel is nothing but an overpriced Motel 6. The bar across street keeps you up till way past 2 am and that was four night’s worth of stays. I was very disappointed with the Holiday Inn. Shame on them!
I am not likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf.
I
would not recommend it to friends.

Overall, I was very satisfied due to the location of the business trip. I didn't like that parking is very expensive, however.

The staff is friendly; they are very accommodating when asked for something. The hotel area is close to Fisherman's Wharf and many attractions.

There was only one person helping with check-in and it took a long time waiting in line to get checked in. Other than that, the people were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were decent, but not extraordinary. Everything was clean and neat. Service was very good. The rooms were a little small for the price, but comfortable. For this price level I would expect a microwave and/or fridge in the room.

It was a typical hotel stay. Nothing went wrong, but there was nothing that happened that stuck out as better than any other hotel I've stayed.

The location was excellent, within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, shopping and the cable cars. It was a very nice and relaxing visit.
This hotel made me feel welcome: All the employees were very courteous.

It was a little too pricy for Hotwire, it wasn't the hotel we thought it was, but it was very nice. It had an expensive breakfast buffet. But the hotel is in a great location and it was clean and nice.

I made my reservation about six months ago and still didn't have what they told me about when we checked in, but they upgraded us to a better floor.
This hotel made me feel welcome: It had very friendly employees.

The location was perfect. It was located by major attractions and tourist spots with access by walking or local transportation. I definitely recommend this hotel to others who want to see SF. The hotel staff was excellent and helped us to book activities for our days. The room was perfect with it being clean and affordable.

It was a good stay, but the noise from a bar across the street prevented sleep until 2 AM. A maid knocking on the door at 7 AM was unwelcome.
