Holiday Inn Express Waterbury Hotel

It is conveniently located off the highway. It is clean and welcoming.

It was pleasant, we had no problems, but the food was awful.

They treat you like family and they cater to your needs.

This hotel made me feel hip: They had indoor pools and a gym to use anytime, day or night.

This hotel's location works well for us on trips from Maine to Maryland/Va. They have good parking and it's easy to get to from the highway. They have quiet rooms, and pleasant and efficient staff with a welcoming attitude. They also have a good breakfast buffet (included) with free newspapers.

We liked this hotel. (We had stayed in a Comfort Suites in Va. the night before and had several problems, but the HIEx was great.) It was easy to get to from Route 84. There's ample parking. We especially liked the wireless Internet access in each room. When I needed something that was missing at the continental breakfast, the front desk staff immediately and graciously took care of it. The air conditioner was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom items were stylish. I liked the free newspaper. There were lots of cable stations.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk was polite. They had the reservation information ready, told us about the breakfast hours, ice machine locations, etc. When I needed an item at breakfast, the front desk got it for me immediately. They were pleasant and friendly.
