Holiday Inn Express Tulsa Hotel - Page 1

When my family was relocating to the Tulsa area in September 2006, we stayed for about 4 days at this Holiday Inn Express while our furniture was in transit. One particular morning we were in a hurry to get out the door and I left my wedding rings and watch in the room. Now, I do know that this is a big NO-NO in hotels, however I would expect that the hotels staff NOT go through my overnight bag searching for valuables while supposedly cleaning our room. Our furniture finally arrived and we checked out. Since I was in the process of cleaning and unpacking I did not think about wearing my diamond rings and nice watch at the time, so the theft was not discovered until a few days later. When I reported it to the desk clerk/manager, I was informed that "the girls haven't reported anything and they always bring me what they find. They even brought me keys to a Honda once before, but I'll go check the room where you stayed." Of course nothing was found. Both my husband and I were heartbroken, to say the least, not to mention, furious. I just felt stupid that I had forgotten NOT to trust others. I will NEVER stay at another Holiday Inn again. We, of course, never received any messages or contacts regarding this huge sentimental and monetary loss.

It’s by the Heart Institute and it’s wonderful. They were very helpful, comfy beds, wine at night and breakfast in the morning. I was very, very satisfied with this place! Nice swim area and exercise room as well.

The staff is always very nice and helpful. The fitness center needs more equipment in addition to treadmills. Some dumbbells would be nice also.

I got what I expected and there were no problems.
