Holiday Inn Express Tavares Hotel

The staff told me when I checked in that the bed was new, and it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The breakfast was good and hot in the morning. Veru courteous and friendly staff, seemd to know a lot about the are and recommended some good places to eat. We loved Vic's Embers down the street - it is a local restaurant with first class service and food (mostly steak and seafood). We also ate at the Harbor Restaurant next to the hotel, and it was nice with a k ind of casual menu, but we sat outside on the deck on the river and the weather was perfect.

The hotel is a nice place to stay. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a good internet connection, and the seafood restaurant is good, although they don't take Amex.

It is close to where my grandma lives. There is a restaurant next door called Vic which is great. It's very pretty by the canal.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They remember my dad, who stays there often. Not matter what time you arrive they are smiling and friendly.

The beds were great. That was the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. The cheese omelets at breakfast were a special treat. The only problem with the stay was the fitness room. There were only three pieces of equipment. One was in use and the other two did not work. This is a very nice hotel. The location is good and the people are very friendly.

This hotel made me feel welcome: We had not planned to stay in a hotel but were very tired. They gave us a room in a nice location where we did not have to walk very far.
