This hotel is finishing up a huge renovation. I used to stay at this property everytime I was in Houston, and although I never had any complaints about service, the hotel was getting old and worn down.
I recently stayed there again and I was beyond impressed! They are still working on the lobby area but their rooms are completely different, someone finally gave this hotel the TLC that it really needed! Very up to date, clean, and comfortable. The beds are amazing, I slept like a baby!
The outdoor pool was closed for renovation, BUT the indoor pool had been upgraded and enclosed since my last visit. It was storming right outside but I was able to enjoy a nice relaxing dip in the pool after my work out! That was very nice.
As I hoped for, the same great customer service that I remembered awaited me upon check in. I am officially done with the Courtyard down the street, and back to my home away from home!
I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Houston, they are consistent with the Holiday Inn brand and they really treat you like family!
