We are big fans of Holiday Inn Express and while this WAS NOT a dive, it did not live up to our expectation for this hotel chain. The bed was old and hard. We asked another couple and they described their mattress as "like sleeping on plywood...

Hotel was nice however, we were near the top floor and around 2am the wind started blowing and there was loose sofit that started flapping and making noise. We were unable to sleep at all as it sounded like a freight train rolling through our room. ...

70 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

It was very nice. It was easy to locate and easy to get on and off the interstate. The personnel there were very nice.

They had an area where we could sit and talk or play games.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Holiday Inn Express St. Ignace-Lake Front.
I might recommend it to friends.

50 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed at this hotel in June 2006. We were very pleased with our room.

The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the balcony and the view of the

lake. We plan to return again this year.
