For a 2 star hotel, it was not too bad. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, the free Internet access, outdoor pool and private balcony. The staff was mostly friendly. We did not like that we couldn't get a king room as we had booked. We saw 2...

The hotel was right off the 5 so it was a nice location. The lobby was charming and I liked the Spanish Mission style. The rooms were small but the staff helped us with all of our needs very quickly.
56 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
June 2008 - The Inn has a great location right by I-5, but the room wasn't at all noisy. It's a 3-minute drive from the beach. The staff was personable and professional. We had 2 queen beds; the bathroom was clean and well-appointed. The complimentary continental breakfast includes hard-boiled eggs, so it's not just a carb-fest.
Since we don't spend much time in our hotel room, we weren't put off by the lack of a view. The ONLY con we could think of was that the front desk answered the phone only about 50% of the time.
We'll be back and we'll tell our friends and family to come here.

The location made it very easy to get on & off the freeway. The staff was very helpful, and always friendly. The breakfast was fair and a quick way to start the day. A news paper was @ the door every morning. The cleaning staff was very nice...

Location was excellent, right off the highway, and minutes away from beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Easy access in and out, well maintained, and staff was courteous and friendly. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and right sized.
I was worried that it wasnt going to be very nice because of reviews I had read, I found it to be very clean and was pleased the moment I opened the door. Just a bit from the beach but very easy to get to from the fwy.

super super clean! great bed! great cont. breakfast, great danish!!! desk people were really nice too. great price! the room we were in looked brand new. bathroom was perfect.
The luggage cart I used to move our suitcases had a flat tire making it very difficult to move it inside as the desk clerk watched me struggle with it. The bathroom door had a booger on it. The bed was right beside the heater so the hot air blasted...

I was very surprised at the wonderful place it turned out to be. The whole place has a Spanish mission style feel to it. High beam ceilings, cozy lobby, lil tables to sit at in the front, pool was awesome. We were about 10mins away from the nearest...

My dtr stayed at the Country Plaza Inn for 5 weeks! She found the surroundings clean and the staff helpful and courteous. The rooms had great ammenities like micros and refrigerators. The continental breakfast in the morning left a bit to be desired ...
