Only stayed one night but enjoyed this one. Staff was very nice and provided a Priority Club welcome bag in the room. I will stay here again if in SLC.

This hotel used to be somewhat dumpy. They have definitely improved its appearance and substantially upgraded the rooms. For the price I believe you get more at this hotel than any other in the area.
The biggest problem with this hotel is the lack of automated entrances and the lack of elevators. In my opinion this is a serious drawback to making this a full featured and valued hotel, but if you stay on the first floor, this is an excellent hotel -- and is in every other way at the same level of other Holiday Inn Express Hotels that are not 100% new.
The beds have Those swiss/Nasa comfortpedic foam mattresses. These can be very comfortable for some people and not so comfortable to others. They were ok for me. Some people find them hot. I did not.

It has easy access location off I-15 in the SLC suburb of Murray, about 12 miles from the airport.
This is an older property, but recently remodeled and well kept. They have a very helpful staff. The beds are Tempur-pedic and extremely comfortable. Two PC's with free internet access and a printer for your airline boarding pass needs. They also have an excellent complimentary continental breakfast that features cheddar cheese omelets and hot cinnamon rolls.
The rate includes local newspaper and USA Today copies in lobby. I visit this hotel monthly on business and see the same business travelers checking in. There are flashier places, but this place has everything you need and nothing you don't.

They put us by the freeway, it was very noisy. The next day, they moved us, but that night some other customer tried to get in our room. We received only a small discount for the inconvenience.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Express Salt Lake City.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
