Nice balance of warmth and coziness along with the predictability of a chain hotel. The big chairs in the lobby (and ample places to sit) along with the fireplace actually inspired us to come and relax instead of hurrying past as we usually do. The rooms were tasteful and comfortable. Plenty of pillows! The lavish breakfast offered, nice people and clean pool facility made it feel like more than just a stop along the way. We'll be back and next time we'll take more time to enjoy the whole place instead of just a bed to sleep in for the night.

They served a superb breakfast and they had a great pool, very clean and warm. I had a clean, comfortable room. They served delicious oatmeal cookies at night. We had a problem with the phone as we followed the directions on the phone on making a call charged to a credit card, but it did not work. The front desk sent the maintenance man up, but he could not figure it out either. He allowed us to use his cell phone to make the call. Also, our niece called the hotel half an hour after we had checked in, to contact us, and she was told by the front desk staff that nobody by that name had reservations for that night at the hotel. She even spelled our last name to the desk clerk, as it is an unusual name. It was very frustrating, since she was the person we were trying to contact long distance. Also, my husband was frustrated with the fact that the business center closed at ten o'clock in the evening, as he was trying to use it and she was asked to leave at that time. Overall, we have stayed at this hotel many times and it is one of the better Holiday Inn Express hotels, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel made me feel pampered: They gave us a free gift on arrival because we are Priority Club members. They also put out plenty of cookies in the evening. The bathroom towels were good sized.
