Holiday Inn Express Port Charlotte Motel

Whenever you see the word express in a business name take heed. Just like light beer, there is something missing. This is just a mediocre motel disguised as a name brand hotel. Dingy rooms and atmosphere, uncaring staff, and few amenities.

The hotel just finished remodeling the outside of the building, I assume from the hurricane. The hotel was very clean, and it was so relaxing to sit by the pool on the quiet lake. We enjoyed our stay.

Due to hurricane damage there was not a sign on the Holiday Inn Express and it was hard to determine if I was at the right place.

I stay often at Holiday Inns.

We loved the hotel. The front desk personnel were wonderful and very helpful with any questions. It was very clean. We had a great stay.
