We are the closest hotel and proud supporter of the University of Montana Grizzlies. Conveniently located within walking distance of the UM and downtown Missoula. The Clark Fork, Bitterroot, Blackfoot Rivers, and the surrounding areas provide opportunities for wildlife viewing and birdwatching. Missoula offers world famous fly fishing, hiking and biking trails. Shopping is also available in historic downtown Missoula. Holiday Inn Express offers amazing views of the Clark Fork River and close access to the famous M trail on Mount Sentinel. Additional summer activities include White Water Rafting and Missoula Osprey Baseball Games. As well as the University of Montana Adams Event Center hosting Love Your Mother Earth, Dark Star Orchestra, and Railroad Earth. There are many on-going activities in Missoula including First Friday Art Walks at the many Art Galleries downtown. The staff was friendly enough but my room smelled like pee. They had left a clogged toilet in our bathroom and it took multiple calls to the front desk for them to unclog it.
