Holiday Inn Express Mission Bay Motel

The problem started when this hotel charge my CC for a night's stay when I had cancelled my reservation and had my reservation code. I fought with Holiday Inn for 3 days on the 150.00 charge for a reservation I had cancelled. HI denied my request to credit the amount back to my CC saying the manager remembered me calling asking questions about the hotel and he wasn't going to refund the charge. This was not true because I had stayed there before and I knew everything I needed to know about the hotel. Than I call my CC and they inform me that this Holiday Inn Express had also charged my CC 1234.00 for a week's stay. I called the hotel and the lady said yes you stayed here in room 317 for 7 days. I ask her if the policy is to ask for id with the CC upon check out and she got very defensive and became very rude and said she could not discuss policy with me. I called the main office again and they tell me that a man from China had stayed in that room under my CC number and I was being charged for those 7 days he had stayed there. Needless to say HI took both charges off my CC but the story doesn't end there. My CC company tells me I also have a 1100.00 charge for another hotel in SD. To make a long story short those charges were removed from my CC as well. I truly believe someone at this hotel stole my cc number, used it there and attempted to use it at another hotel. The staff at this hotel was very rude and defensive with me just trying to lock down the events around this check in. And no I didn't lose my credit card. Beware of giving your cc to hotels. I know we have to in order to reserve a room but be careful and check your statement very carefully.

This is a great motel. I have stayed there four times now and I will book this place any time I am in the San Diego area. The motel has a great staff and a nice location in the middle of everything. It is easy to get to, with the normal amenities. I have the motel business card and book directly. I have never had a problem!

This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk clerk that made the reservation was on duty when I arrived. He was friendly and easy going. I asked for directions and they were given exactly to where I wanted to go. They offered great service!

The location was nice and the rooms were well kept. Check out took too long and there were errors done.

This place was a real pleasure to stay at. Both of our rooms were excellent and the staff is the best that I have ever encountered in all of my travels! I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel made me feel content: When we had a question with directions, they made us feel confident of getting there. One small item needed repair in our room and they attended to it immediately. The rooms were cleaned and our belongings were safe throughout our stay.

It was clean. They offered a good breakfast. The parking was tight and it needs to be expanded.
