My wife and I had this past weekend (6-19-08 thru 6-21-08) to get out of town. We wanted to visit Memphis for barbecue, Graceland, and the party atmosphere downtown. I researched hotels in Memphis and found this Holiday Inn Express to fall within my price range. Let me tell you, when we arrived, it was obvious that many guests were affiliated with the nearby medical community. The hotel was very clean and located a short distance from the interstate and about a mile from downtown (straight down the streeet). But, most of all, the staff was genuinely very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The breakfasts are fantastic. Not just rolls and juice. I enjoyed sausage, bacon, sausage gravy, fresh biscuits, omelots, scrambled eggs, a variety of cereals , juices, and plenty more.It cost me under $500 . With all considered, the friendliness of all of the staff made our visit great. I will return. Jack F.

It was ok, but there was a lot of construction going on at the time.
