Our past experience w/Holiday Inn has been excellent until we stayed at this one. The carpet in the room had been vacuumed but was in dire need of shampooing (many spots&stains), the tile area was stained&dusty and there was a half empty water...
65 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We arrived at LA airport and called Holiday Inn Express for ride to hotel...after 5 phone calls, someone picked us up and had insisted he had been looking for us. We were exactly where we were told to wait and others were watching for him, too. We arrived at hotel 1 hr. and 45 min after our first phone call.
The check-in clerk was very rude and just said "give me your credit card" "sign here" No please or thank you!
The room was fine and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast bar was nice.
The check-out clerk was very friendly and polite. We had a great ride back to the airport.

We have stayed at other Holiday Inns but this was our worst experience...We had originally booked to stay 3 nights, but cut short our stay...When you check into a hotel room, the first thing you look for is cleanliness. The carpet had been vacuumed...

great location-close to Manhattan Beach, LAX, LMU, shopping w/free parking. No frills but clean w/decent breakfast included & restaiurants nearby. Used it as a base to visit colleges.

A great find out of the hustle and bustle of downtown LA, but still close to everything. Only a few minutes from LAX and a couple of blocks from gorgeous downtown Manhattan Beach. Gorgeous pool and jacuzzi, huge clean and comfortable guest rooms....

Nothing.Could not get a non smoking room, staff cause me trouble with airline boarding passes. I would only stay in this hotel is it was the only room available.
