Holiday Inn Express Libertyville Hotel - Page 1

The hotel was in a good location and for the most part was clean. Our problems were mainly in the room. The linens were stained and there could have been a better shower head for the bathroom. The beds were very, very uncomfortable. We even flipped the mattress trying to get better sleep. The air unit was not working correctly. There was a smell of something burning every time it came on. There was no microwave in the room which was fine but I thought there would be one downstairs where they served breakfast. This made it somewhat difficult since we have a baby. There were a few other things but overall I don't think we would go back.

This place was great! The mattresses were comfy and it felt like I was in my own bed. They give you both soft and firm pillows with labels and plush blanket too. They clean the room and make the bed every day and even give you the option to "go green" and not wash the sheets every day.

The room was spacious and had 2 queen beds, a table, and 2 chairs. It had a large TV too. The bathroom had a large soaking tub, heat lamp, and 3 mode shower head. Every day we got new towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, even a makeup wipe!

The breakfasts were awesome! They had to die for cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals, English muffins, muffins, toast, jams, peanut butter, butter, coffee, orange and apple juices, milk, and a big screen TV! There was an indoor heated pool, a washer and dryer to do your own laundry but no detergent, so bring your own.

Everything was as expected from a Holiday Inn Express.

It was too expensive.
