Holiday Inn Express Katy Hotel

My wife needs a handicapped room. When I called directly to the hotel they were rude and did not offer any discounts that applied to us.

I called directly to the reservation center and got a better price.

We arrived late the evening of Thanksgiving and were immediately disappointed but too tired to look for an alternate hotel. The carpet is worn beyond reason and the room smelled.

The in room refrigerator rattled all night and the heat either blew loudly or we had to turn it off to keep the noise down.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

When we made arrangements to move to another hotel and notified the Manager he apologized and gave us fifty percent off the bill for that night.

We did not mind paying for a quality stay but this was not the experience we expected with a brand name hotel we have stayed in many hotels with the same brand and never been disappointed before.

The room was much smaller than expected and there was no refrigerator. There was no safe in the room. On one occasion we had no glasses or coffee.

It was nice and had easy access from the freeway.

It was a nice stay.

I liked the nice room and nice meeting room.
