I stayed here in May of '06. It's location right off of I-55 made it just right for weary travelers like myself.
The staff was great and even help me sign up for the Priority Club. The room was quite nice, believe me when I tell you that because I have honestly seen a lot worse. The room was quiet and I got a very good night's sleep there. The only problem that I had with the hotel was the size of their lounge where you sit for the continental breakfast. It was just too small for the amount of people that the hotel accommodates. There was nowhere for us to sit, so we had to take our breakfast back up to our room so that we could sit down.
Other than that, I thought that the hotel was quite nice and I would definitely come back for another stay.

The hotels access to other local businesses, restaurant, and entertainment, was the primary reason we chose this establishment. The staff was friendly and the accommodations very comfortable. Be prepared to pay a little more than other hotels in the vicinity.
The staff was very warm. Everyone we encountered was eager to help make our stay enjoyable. The staff was also very knowledgeable about local attractions.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SPRINGFIELD.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
