33 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I liked the kitchenette, it was very convenient especially since I was traveling with my kids. They also had a very good selection on the breakfast menu and during the week the hotel offered a free happy hour full of appetizers and soft drinks. I disliked the pool. It had very bad lighting and you really could not use it in the early evening.
The amenities made it a very comfortable stay. The staff was able to provide you with everything from forks to pots and pans. The breakfast hours were accommodating for early risers and late comers and the buffet selection was there even for the ones that got there last. The staff was on top of keeping all the pool towels and toys in order and available at all times.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SAN JOSE-INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Don't be fooled. We were absolutely appalled with the quality of our room during our recent stay. It seemed as if this hotel in San Jose had previously been a motel and had been converted to be a Holiday Inn Express. The internal hallway looked old...
