43 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
This is a nice place to stay when you want to spend a nice weekend in Montreal but are on a budget. The staff were friendly considering this was my first time to Montreal. They were able to provide a list of tourist attractions that are good to visit and some that might not be the best to go when you only have 2 days in the city. They also provided us with a list of good restaurants that weren’t too pricy or far away. Overall a pleasant experience and a great way to find the must see attractions in the city.

27 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
During my road trip to Halifax this summer, I decided to take a one night, two day stop in Montreal. Rooms were clean and large enough for a few people to stay comfortably. The beds were also very comfortable. I found staff to be very helpful and fast. I had called room service to change bed sheets and they came up with new sheets in a flash. The location of the hotel is good as well. Not too far away from Old Montreal and a short drive to Chinatown. The hotel also offers internet access so I was able to keep up with my e-mails! Overall, I had a good stay.
I approve this hotel!

Good hotel but no free parking

50 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express during a business trip and the stay I had with them was quite alright. The staff members at the hotel were well-mannered and hardworking. All duties done by them were done well, so I have no complaints. The main problem that I had with this hotel was the lack of parking. A hotel without free parking for their customers is a bit of a hassle, especially for someone like me who needs to drive around town. Rooms come with the basic setup, so nothing is of particular interest. Location is quite good as it is located near the downtown area of the city. Since it was in that area, it was not difficult for me to go to different parts of the city.

32 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Wow its been ages that I have been to this hotel. I remember this hotel was like the best one around. I had a great time at the hotel. Many people there were nice. Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Montreal gave us $40 certificate for free and I had a fun time exploring the hotel. There were so many floors in the building. I had an enjoyable time. Many people that I have made in the hotel were all friendly. I must concluded that I have a fun time exploring there and many people there were absolutely nice. I admired their service and this is a good time when you bring your families or childrens out.

37 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
I have to say that I loved this hotel mainly due to proximity to the Old Montreal.
I stayed there last year 2006 for a full week and as a versed business "tourist" I try to make the most of my stay as dipping into the local culture and this was no exception. The view over the street was great ( I forgot the street name) and going every night out and see this gorgeous city with it's European flavour was just priceless.
I wanted to rent a car to move around but parking was a bit pricey so I chose to walk a lot and and use the taxi which I found to be a convenient way and also cheap for the time. plus in Montreal you can have a beer on the street and you don't want to drive afterwards...
Back to the hotel I found the rooms to be clean and very roomy , hotel personal was nice and although sometimes hard to understand , where very friendly.
I didn't try the restaurant as I was dining out with my client every night.
I would recommend this hotel and definitely return.
