Okay
I would not recommend this hotel. Our biggest disappointment was that the hot tub was cold. There is also a very busy train track right next to the hotel so it kept us up all night. Plus the walls are paper thin so we heard every time our neighbor ...
I brought my handicapped children to lexington to see doctors at the Shriners Childrens Hospital. We stayed at the Holiday inn on Export st. and had a very pleasent stay. The staff was most helpful...holding the door (my children are in wheelchairs) getting us extra towels and pillows and assisting us with our luggage, they were also helpful in recommending good restaurants and shopping locations. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
The Hotel is good considering the price.

Good
The Hotel is good considering the price. Price includes a very good breakfast (eggs, bacon, muffins, english muffins, bagels, yoghurt, milk, good coffee, etc.). Location is excellent, very close to downtown and UK campus and an almost staright shot...

I Checked into this Hotel and they gave me a king room non-smoking, but it smelled like an ashtray. I asked for a new room as I am a non-smoker and prefer to keep my clothes smelling that way. They complained about it but moved me, this time to a 2 queen bed room (Lower priced but didn't charge me less) I also asked for a wakeup call for all 3 days I would be staying at the time of check in. They failed to give me any wakeup calls at all. Their internet connection reset every minute or so making it nearly impossible to get anything accomplished online. Their cable channels were locals and the cable news channels.
This was by far the Worst hotel stay I have had in years.
Hotel is pretty new and very clean.

Good
Hotel is pretty new and very clean. Rooms a little small but with comfy beds, good pillows and thick towels. Internet is not wireless (they have cables you can borrow), is very slow and predictable. Is one of the only hotels in Lex that had...

I'm an employee at the Holiday Inn Express in Delray Bch., Florida I vacationed in Lexington, SC and stayed at the Holiday Inn Exp. in Lexington, South Carolina which was awful.
The customer service was dingy. The manager kept asking me about work when I'm on vacation, I do not talk about work and to top it off they gave me a dirty room. There were dead roaches by the TV and the fridge was rusty.
The bathtub was dirty and uneven. You could not even stand in it without leaning to the side. Was it because I was an employee paying a lower amount that I got a dirty room or is it just that way?
They charge people good money to stay there with filth. Now the sign said they were fixing it up, but come on, filth is filth whether your fixing it up or not. I have a mind to ask for my money back.
