It’s a convenient location to the University of Kansas and local points of interest. It is close to shopping and excellent eating establishments. It’s close to the interstate highway for those traveling by auto. It furnishes an early morning meal, with an attendant on duty, for those who must depart early.
When the attendant realized we had stayed there before he bid us welcome home even though he had never seen us before. Being from the town that has the opposing state college for football and other sports we were still treated with the respect that made us feel comfortable.

The location was great. It had a quick check-in. The renovations were somewhat of an inconvenience with hammering beginning at seven thirty to eight a.m., but the staff made arrangements to change rooms to a quieter wing for the remainder of my days in Lawrence. I still prefer being forewarned about construction to make arrangements elsewhere for uninterrupted sleep.

We have a corporate account, but it still takes ten minutes to make a reservation on the phone. The rooms, every time I have stayed there, always have a problem, mention it to someone and receive no feedback. Even though we have a corporate account I have been hassled by the billing clerk with messages on the room telephone -- and when you return calls to management, you never receive a return call. It has gotten to the point that my bosses will not stay there.
