A brand new Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is located in historic Hot Springs, the Southern Gateway to South Dakota's gorgeous Black Hills. The hotel is located just East of the nationally rated Southern Hills Golf Course, and just across the street from the prehistoric Mammoth Site. Hot Springs is also home to the world famous Evans Plunge, the worlds largest naturally warm indoor pool. Within just a short drive is the magnificent Mt. Rushmore monument, as well as other must see attractions, such as the Wild Horse Sanctuary, Wind Cave National Park, and Custer State Park. The Hotel offers both Single King and Double Queen rooms and Suites, and a two-room Jacuzzi Suite. There are also three Kid's Suites, that have a bunk bed, TV with DVD and VHS, and activity table. All rooms are nonsmoking and have Free High Speed Internet. There is also internet access available in the business center located near the lobby. Location near the Mammoth digs.No swimming pool. The hotel was OK, nothing spectacular, but it had only a hot tub, and no swimming pool, this was a big disappointment as we took our grandson on this trip and he wanted to swim.

Stayed here to go to Sturgis. 11/2 hr away when desk staff said 45 minutes. NO pool even though one was advertised. Also some people were given laundry soap as a courtesy and some people were charged for it. The facility was clean and the breakfast...
