I booked a night here for my husband's 24th birthday and had a two friends and his parents come up for a few drinks and card games after dinner. We were quiet and calm, with only a radio playing at TV level volume and our group laughing and talking at conversation level. A desk clerk knocked on our door at 10:45 to bark at my husband, "Can you tell me why I've gotten noise complaints about your room???!!!" This infuriated my husband, and our group, because "quiet time" isn't until 11:00. However, we weren't loud enough to warrant any complaints... but we agreed to tone down the noise (which consisted of moving the radio away from any walls). Not 10 minutes later, a different clerk arrived and began berating me with condescending comments about their "no tolerance policy" and how us "hoodlums" were "disrespectful and ungrateful." My husband got angry and she shouted, "Well you'll be going to jail because I've already called 911!!!" So we gathered our things and left, migrating to the neighboring parking lot to decide where to go next. My husband's parents spent about 10 minutes in a heated debate with the two clerks regarding the reason and nature of our ejection. Shortly after exiting, we witnessed two sheriffs arriving at the hotel and searching our room, as if they expected there to be drugs or illegal activity (our room windows faced the lot we were gathered in). Let me assure you that we will NEVER stay at any Holiday Inn or any other Intercontinental Hotel Group brand of facility. Neither will our friends or family. If you want to be treated as if you're a criminal and be discriminated against then feel free to be a paying customer at this institution of bigotry.

The hotel was accommodating, but I would have liked to have a better breakfast. The coffee was weak and there was not a good selection for a continental offering.

It made me feel like I was at home.

The locks on the doors are secure and I like having the card to enter the room now.

I wish could have stayed another night, if only for the jacuzzi and pool.

The inn has nice bathroom facilities, warm rooms, comfortable beds, a jacuzzi and heated pool.
