The location is isolated. They were renovating so the pool was not in use. The beds were in poor condition. Otherwise the room was big, spacious and clean.
I am not likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dallas Ft. Worth Airport North.
I might recommend it to friends.

My trip was for a funeral and we went to the Hotels.com site to find a hotel that had three basic things: a shuttle to the airport as two of us would not be leaving until hours after our brother had taken back the rental car: one with a full breakfast as two of us are diabetics and cannot eat the continental breakfasts very well; one with wireless so we could communicate with our companies that we own back home easiest. Harvey Hotels said on the site they had these three things. So we booked them. What we found was different.
1. The shuttle was there, but the two times we used it, for two of us going back at different times, it was 20 minutes late in both cases, and the management did not seem to care when we made comment about it. The man simply said it would come eventually.
2. Breakfast was continental consisting of sweet rolls, yogurt, biscuits and gravy and oranges and apples, and cereal. I could have a bowl of cereal and dried biscuits, but not the gravy. Certainly not the full breakfast that had been advertised.
3. The wireless never worked for two of us who had our own computers and when I went to the work station, my Yahoo account would not come up. The only answer we got from management was that they didn't know what was wrong.
As you can tell our experience, it was very disappointing and we will go back to this area, probably a lot, but we do not plan to stay here again. There are probably 15 other hotels in that location and we have many, many other choices.

Although the staff was above average and helpful, the pool and Jacuzzi needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was included and had scrambled eggs and either bacon or sausage every day. The biggest problem was they do not pick up their guests at the airport in the hotel van, but contract for this service making for very marginal customer satisfaction.
I booked a room at the hotel during Hurricane Rita. I booked the room with a credit card with guarantee for late arrival. I called to confirm my reservation before driving from Houston to Dallas. A woman who spoke english with oriental accent...
