My daughter and I were at the horse expo at the event center next door and decided we didn't want to drive back home. We stopped at The Holiday Inn Express hoping they would have a room. They had one left and the desk person was very friendly!. I...

The Holiday Inn Express was a wonderful hotel!
We checked in late with our kids who were anxious to get out of the car. They immediately spotted the cookies in the lobby, however, there was just one left. The girl at the desk offered to make more so that each of our kids could have one. Then, to top it off, she offered our kids a prize from their treasure chest. Those gestures meant a lot to not only my kids, but to me as well.
Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The service was outstanding, the breakfast was great and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Albany.

We were given a price that was less than quoted.Swimming pool open too late - noisy right below room. We enjoyed our stay - it was convenient to the softball park where family members were playing games. It would have been nice to have a restaurant...
