male with an economy budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed here while fishing Strawberry Res. and were glad to have a warm be and hot shower. The staff was very nice and the hot continental breakfast was much better than anticipated. Though the motel seemed pretty full it was very quiet. The room and bathrrom were clean. The only flaw was that one of our keycards did not work in our room. The guy at front desk said, "That happens sometimes." I'm not sure what to think about that, but I will definitely stay there again on my next overnight trip to Strawberry.

Excellent
We had stayed at the Heber Holiday Inn about a year ago while it was under construction, but, the staff more than made up for it. We came back this last March and it was just gorgeous. We would consider it much more than a budget hotel.

It was clean, inexpensive (when booked in advance via online service), and centrally-located. It's not a 5-star resort, but that's not what we were after. The three qualities I mentioned in my first sentence are paramount to me when...
