31 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We made a reservation for 6 rooms, and got a discounted rate. When we arrived the manager told us that the rate was wrong, that it was only for one room (while the rest were full price). His story kept changing. First, the person who made the reservation was new and made a mistake, then he said that he personally called our friend who made the reservation and advised him of the correct rates, then he said someone else had made that call, then after 15 minutes of arguing he said our friend had lied when he made the reservation and told the clerk that he (the manager) had approved the rate. We will never stay at this hotel, and the whole group intends to be in the area frequently.
