I was very pleased with the hacienda appearance. The service was excellent. We arrived later than planned and the restaurant stayed open late so we would be able to eat after a long drive. Also the desk personnel assisted us in carrying our bags to our room. I was very satisfied.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Express El Paso-Central.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Mediocre
I'm a fresh air person, and the windows don't open. Also, this is now an all non-smoking hotel. Yes, the place is kinda smelly, I don't know if it's the carpet or something in the walls? Does not live up to HI Express standards.
For this hotel they took a really OLD building downtown, put on LOTS of paint and called in a Holiday Inn Express. It's still an old building though - no hot water in the morning.
