Holiday Inn Express Chicago Midway Airport Hotel

I checked in and noticed that toilet was not clean. It took about two hours to get someone to room. I made 2 calls to front desk and 2 calls to manager and finally really upset.

Pay little more, find a better hotel.

While the hotel looks very nice, I found the service I received to be far beyond sub par. When trying to check into my room they were unable to find my reservation, even though I handed them a confirmation number. When I called the front desk to request a taxi pick up, the person I was talking to asked for the address of the pick up site 3 times, when I wanted to be picked up at the hotel! And then to top it all off, I was staying there for a wedding, and come to find out they put the ENTIRE wedding party block under my credit card without authorization. A total of more than $700! I am now in the process of trying to have the charges removed, but the person I need to speak with is not returning my calls. Most of the staff was very nice, but this complete incompetence will keep me from ever returning to this hotel.

The price is well worth the ease and the convenience of getting to the airport on time and without a hassle.
