Holiday Inn Express Baker Hotel

The location was very good. It was very close to where I needed to be. There were just two problems. I received a smoking room and I wanted non-smoking. The bed was hard as a rock.

They are usually conveniently located and reasonably clean. They have reasonable rates and predictable service.

The bed was very hard and thus uncomfortable for me. The TV remote was very useless, I had to go up and down through every channel.

The TV remote was sluggish (probably needed new batteries), the room had an unpleasant odor and the large towel rack in the bathroom was broken; however, the front desk staff was responsive to our needs and complaints.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff, the exercise room and the complimentary breakfast.
