We always enjoy the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Anchorage. The kids love the pool. The continental breakfast is extremely good, with something for all ages. I always choose it. They serve cookies and milk in the evenings. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

This hotel made me feel secure: Only one entrance open to the public. Other entrances required room door cardkey. Front desk manned 24 hrs and directly by front door. Multiple staff on duty all night (desk person and security).

We were slightly inconvenienced by a frozen door and had to change rooms. And the stairs by the second room were icy.
