Holiday Inn Eisenhower Metro Hotel

The staff was superior, the morning continental breakfast was lovely, the bar in the evening was comfortable (although smoking is allowed). Wonderful value, and fairly quiet. The freeway noise is slightly audible, but it becomes like background noise that drowns out the other extant noises in the hall. The room was very clean, and the hotel is just a short walk from the Metro station. The morning we left we were too early for the Metro, and the hotel gave us a free shuttle ride to the airport. They also gave us coupons for free continental breakfasts each day we were there, and complimentary drinks at the happy hour.

I am a business traveler that has to stay at this hotel because my company puts us there. Last week I got bit in the face by a bed bug, woke up 5 am with left eye swollen. It was confirmed by my doctor that day. A few days ago a worker peer found dozens of bugs in his bed. All this hotel does is block the room and have it cleaned.. but this doesn't take care of bed bugs they roam the hotel everywhere. Stay away

The hotel had a very good location close to Metro. It also had a very friendly staff.

This hotel made me feel content: Everything was handled properly and there were no worries about anything.

The room could use some cosmetic refurbishing. It was pretty dingy looking. I expected more for that price. The bed could have been more comfortable. It was a great location to catch the Metro to DC.
