Holiday Inn Destin Hotel

Though I am a college student myself, I was trying to avoid the nasty college-student aimed hotels in Panama City Beach, and opted for Destin instead. Everyone in my group was SO glad that we did! The Holiday Inn was kept very clean, and it had many ammenities that I was not expecting. The free popcorn, ice cream, and DVD rentals were definitely perks! I was sad when I first checked in to find that breakfast there is not complimentary, however, I never woke up early enough for breakfast anyway...

The hotel is ON the beach, and even though we didn't get a "gulf view" room, we could still see, hear, and smell the ocean from our balcony!

The pools are kept clean, and there is a 24 hour security guard on duty that keeps the drunk people from being obnoxious, but still lets everyone have fun. All-in-all, a perfect hotel for those trying to find a nice place to stay for a good price.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Everything was well taken care of. I have told many others about how nice this hotel was.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They always had smiles on their faces. They always asked if they could help. They were very good at showing me where things were.

My sister and I went to Destin and stayed in a Gulf View room. We paid more than we had wanted, but it was worth every penny. The view was beautiful and one morning about 630 am while sitting on the balcony we watched dolphins swim up the coast. The beds were very confortable. The rooms were clean and we were given an over abundance of towels. The employees we encountered were very nice. The food at the hotel was very good. The Pot Roast was excelent. We want to go back to Destin and if we get to, we would stay at the Holiday Inn again. What I liked the most is that their Gulf View rooms were only 4 stories tall. We did not want to stay in a room 20 stories tall. This is a very well kept and clean hotel.
