We are less than a 5 minute walk to the Schottenstein Center and Ohio Stadium and less than a 10 minute drive to The Ohio Expo Center home of The Ohio State Fair. Ashley's restaurant, located inside the hotel is open daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. We came for the Columbus Crew game. Very nice place for the money. Friendly/ helpful staff, really excellent breakfast. Room could have used a little maintenance (drain plug didn't work for bath, TV needed repair/replacing), but nothing major. ...
43 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
It is an older hotel but the staff makes up for it with the service. You are always greeted friendly and with a smile. It has all the amenities that you could need and is close to the Ohio State University campus and downtown. Whenever possible when I stay in Columbus, I stay there.
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is nice to see the same people working there and that greet me by my name.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Columbus-Ohio State Univ Area.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Excellent
My daughter and I stayed here while visiting OSU. Very convenient. Clean room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking.Minutes away from OSU. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Okay
Way too close to campus and dont even think of staying here during a football game. CHAOS! Ok hotel with an average restaurant but not worth the price. Drive a little further much better value.
