I booked a one bedroom villa and they shoved me off in some filthy hotel room. I never heard of a place that doesn't give you clean towels daily especially when you are paying a lot to stay at that s**t hole. Their staff sucked. Very unhelpful. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. I filed a complaint with consumer affairs and the BBB. Now they are talking about reimbursing the difference in the rooms which still doesn't do justice on how they lied to me. They try to sell you on one of their stupid time share bits I said no and I think after saying that they decided to shove me in their scummy room. STICK IT UP YOUR WAZOO ORANGE LAKE. I would never stay there or recommend it to my worst enemy. I'm also gonna nail them for false advertisement as well.

Dealings with Orange Lake
1. Charging people for a STOP PAYMENT check which was replace and the replacement being cashed.
2. Maintenance fees being paid but applying the fees to the mortgage payments and refusing to correct their mistake but still claiming the maintenance was never paid.
3. Refusing owners the usage of their time because Orange Lake has rented out the condo to other people
4. Filing liens illegally so they can repo the TIMESHARING so they can resell the time and still charge the owner for maintenance fees.
Looking for other people to sign up to file a class action lawsuit against Orange Lake
We went in Feb 2009 and were disappointed. Customer Service was horrible to non-existent. We paid to stay an extra night due to our airfare schedule and were "guaranteed" prior to our arrival (and even at check-in) that we would not have to...

We are owners. I really liked the slaes people. No high pressure sales pitches. The place really sales itself. We have been going for 3 years now and have yet to regret buying. We also love the RCI benfits! We used those for our Honeymoon last year ...
42 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I have to say that I am VERY disappointed in them. After much pressure, I finally bought up from a deeded week to their new points version after being threatened that soon we probably wouldn't be able to book anything there through weeks besides our own week, which we have never used. We closed in October. No news November. In December tried to call my sales person, they no longer work there. Late December, I try to book some vacations and am given another number and find that they are no longer "Global Access" but now Holiday Inn Vacation Club. But, they have no record of me in their system. Called back to Orange Lake, talked to someone, they will take care of it. January, they have record of me, but I can't go onto RCI's points web site to check availability. They're "working on it", no ETA. So I decided to find out how many points Disney tickets would be, something they mentioned repeatedly during sales presentation. Call up, you can't use points for Disney Tickets any more. Here we are in February, the only vacation I have booked is from a banked week through RCI. I have 286,000 points, if I fax them the certificate from the closing that shows I was given 100,000 bonus points, which they have no record of. I have no membership cards, I got an RCI "Weeks" book, but no "Points" book to see what resorts are available. No way to go online to look.
No fresh towels do your own, CSR rude for purchasing tickets and explaining, hard to understand her so called english, lip smacking gum and long scarey finger...
We Love Orange Lake! Nothing is perfect, but for 99% of the time it will please even the most critical person. There are clean pools for all ages, great food at River Island, great golf (90 holes) for every ability, and we wait for their phone...
