The service I received is the best I have ever received in the 15 years I have been traveling and staying in hotels. The hotel is very clean. I was surprised when I walked in the door. I thought I was at the wrong hotel. This hotel is nicer than the ...

Excellent
This is true... have not stayed in the hotel but I have been in the lobby and ate in the restaurant. The food is amazing and well priced and the hotel lobby looks like something out of a New York magazine... not like any Holiday Inn I ever stayed in ...

Hotel was in a great location and I was able to walk to my meetings each day. The staff was always around asking if I needed assistance and helped me out with several great recommendations for dinner. The restaurant is also excellent on property. I had dinner one night there and lunch several times. They have a great buffet with something different each day. Any needs I had during my stay were quickly taken care of by someone, sometimes in management. There seemed to be several managers there that were always in the lobby talking to guests as they passed through. Very nice touch!
Does not accept pets. Also claims they have never accepted pets... curious. Curiously annoying. Also annoying: reviews on Citysearch must be 100 characters. I had to pad this one out.

Good
This hotel is in a great location. It's easy to get to, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, museums, library, gallery, parks, etc. within walking distance. It's a great location for either business, family fun or singles that want to mingle....

Rude staff and not worth the money. Went to a wedding reception there and witnessed staff members prevent a handicapped lady from being seated. I was also double billed for my room and the manager was rude and unresponsive to my phone calls. Wake up call was thirty minutes late. Please don't bother with this hotel, there are plenty of other options if you stay in Charlotte.

It was in a good location and was very clean and nice. The room was beautiful. The wireless internet worked great. Probably the only negative was the walk from the parking deck to the lobby, but that can't be helped as it is downtown.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Charlotte-Center City.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
