It was conveniently located for a concert event downtown. Next time I would select a room on the front side of the hotel overlooking the river. the view at the backside of the hotel was of a lower level roof that was littered with trash.

I stayed at Holiday Inn hotels in Charleston, West Virginia and in Marietta, Ohio. Both places were nice, the room in Charleston had some tears in the wallpaper, but it was fine. The Marietta Holiday Inn hotel had a good room and a good restaurant.

This hotel made me feel entertained: There was a concert on the riverfront right in front of the hotel, so we had front window seats.

The service in the restaurant was terrible. We were at a convention and there were not enough personnel to handle the crowd. Also, the hours the restaurant was open were not long enough, and the bar never opened on a Saturday night.

It was a great place to stay.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: I felt like I was some one important.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk staff knew my name and had a shuttle waiting for me each morning.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Rapid, friendly check in, responsive front desk.

This hotel made me feel secure: The extra lock on the door and 24-hour security service that was very visible.
