Our hotel was absolutely perfect. We decided at the last minute to get away for a night after our wedding and literally booked the hotel as we walked out the door to leave. Its location was perfect, the staff was perfect, the room was perfect, etc.
The Mills House stood while Charleston

Good
The Mills House stood while Charleston burned during the Civil War. Employees of the hotel stood on the roof and balconies waving wet sheets onto the side of the building to keep stray sparks from catching it on fire.
