It was newly remodeled. The rooms were nice and spacious, the staff was friendly. The hotel had good food and atmosphere; overall, it was a good experience. It's also convenient to Metro.

This hotel's location was excellent. Service was excellent. But the restaurant was less than expected.

I attended a conference at the hotel. Convention rates were very reasonable. Recent renovations greatly improved the common areas (lobby, bar, etc.). The Starbucks located in the facility is very convenient as is the hotel's close proximity to L'Enfant Plaza Metro stop.

This hotel is perfect! You are easily within walking distance of the mall, Capitol building and the Library of Congress! We would definitely recommend staying there.

The location was very convenient for walking to the National Mall, as well as some government agency buildings. The lobby and restaurants were recently updated and are very attractive with contemporary decor. Food in Smithson's Restaurant was very good as was the service, although a bit pricey. There's also a quick-serve deli with breakfast and snack foods, but this is also pricey. The hotel has a business center with four computer terminals and two printers, where you can access the Internet for free, 24 hours a day. Our room had a king-sized bed and was very spacious. We had plenty of room for our luggage, as well as room to stretch out and relax. The room included a bed, lounging chair with ottoman, large dresser, large TV, a desk and chair, two nightstands, a closet, and a fairly large bathroom. There was an attractive-looking and clean pool on the roof of the building.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was very friendly and helpful when we checked-in. They also had an information sheet prepared each day telling their guests what events were happening around the city.

My experiences with Holiday Inn are, for the most part, wonderful. While not a luxury hotel, everything is always very clean and well furnished, everything works properly. In general, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is close to my location in Washington, D.C. However, there was a lingering, very smoky smell in the air.

There were a number of problems. Water from the room above us leaked into our shower. The pool was very small and up a steep flight of stairs. The restaurant was slow, the service and staff were unprofessional, and the quality of food was poor. The gift shop, however, was very nice and had great fudge.

They were remodeling the front entrance, but it didn't cause any problems.
