The hallways were dirty and filled with carts and big bags of laundry. The beds were uncomfortable. The staff was bordering on rude. And most of all.... there was a fire in the back section of the hotel, complete with fire trucks and firemen during the night. The fire alarms were so quiet, a low hum, that only two rooms of the twenty in our wing heard it and evacuated the hotel. The rest of us slept through the incident. No one phoned our rooms or knocked on our doors. We learned about it the next morning. If the fire had spread, we could have died in our sleep. The staff next morning acted like it was no big deal. I would never stay there again.
