Holiday Inn Buena Park Hotel

Buena Park Holiday Inn is typical of other Holiday Inns around the country - They build these 4 to 8 story hotels right next to major freeways (The 91 in this case). If you are unfortunate enough to get a room facing the freeway, you'll hear every Harley and 18 wheeler that roles by all hours of the night. The unacceptable level of noise could be easily avoided if Holiday Inn was mindful enough to install double pain windows! I asked to be moved, and the smart-ass front desk clerk had the nerve to tell me it would be just as noisy facing the pool with loud kids and all - News flash idiot - kids don't swim at 3:00 AM! Needless to say, the jerk didn't find me a quieter room, so I'm stuck here in my roaring room. So, I'm giving this Holiday Inn an awful rating because of noise and an unfreindly staff. My advise is don't stay here if you're expecting a good night sleep. The only good thing about it is the $70 per night rate I got through Priceline - a price that is fair considering this hotel is maybe a notch above motel 6.

The hotel was comfortable and very convenient, right beside the freeway off ramp. The convention facilities worked out fine and I enjoyed my stay there.
